About the player
Born in Esposende, he came through the youth ranks at A.D. Esposende before spells in the academies of FC Porto and Leixões, and turned professional at Padroense in 2008.
The following decade took him across Portuguese football and beyond it. After Marítimo's reserve side and G.D. Ribeirão, he joined Os Belenenses, then moved to Moreirense on loan before signing permanently. In 2015 he left Portugal altogether for Bulgaria, joining Litex Lovech and later CSKA Sofia, before returning to Moreirense for a second spell. A further move abroad followed in 2019, to Saudi Arabia's Al-Fayha.
Back in Portugal from 2021, he had his longest single spell in years at F.C. Arouca, followed by two seasons at U.D. Leiria. In February 2025 he signed for Lusitânia Lourosa, where he extended his contract through June 2026. That same year, Lusitânia Lourosa won the Liga 3 title, earning promotion to the Segunda Liga.
He has not featured for Portugal's national team.
