About the player
Benjamin Romeyns made his senior debut with RAAL La Louvière in March 2021 and immediately made an impact, scoring seven goals in 27 appearances during the 2021/22 Belgian First Amateur Division season. He had come through the Sporting Charleroi academy from the age of eight.
In July 2022 he switched permanently to FC Wiltz 71 in Luxembourg's National Division. He finished as the club's top scorer in his first season there with 11 goals. The following campaign brought seven goals in just nine appearances, before a return to a fuller workload in 2024/25 produced 12 goals in 31 matches.
Romeyns was sent straight back to Wiltz on loan for the following two seasons. He now wears the number 88 shirt for Strassen.
Romeyns, born in Charleroi, has not been capped by the Belgian national team.
