About the player
He had come through the club's academy from 2017, and the following campaign he added a goal in ten appearances across the Profesyonelliğe Geçiş Ligi and the Bölgesel Amatör Lig.
The move to Bodrumspor in 2022 slowed that scoring down. Güven spent two full seasons in the U19 side — 18 appearances in 2022/2023, then 30 the year after, with one goal — and his only senior involvement in that time came in a single Turkish Cup tie.
A loan to Beykoz İshaklıspor followed in August 2024. It was short: he was back at Bodrumspor by the last day of the year. In August 2025 he left again, this time permanently, joining Niğde Belediyespor, where he spent the season.
On 1 August 2026 Güven returned to Bodrumspor on a free transfer. None of his earlier moves carried a disclosed fee either.
