Christopher McKee

Christopher McKee established himself as a reliable target man in Northern Irish football. His journey began within the Rangers structure, where he moved through their youth setup before securing a permanent move to Linfield in January 2022.

At Linfield, McKee became a consistent presence in the attack. Over a four-year period, he made more than 150 appearances, finding the net 46 times. His ability to contribute goals at this level demonstrated his development into a fully-fledged senior player. When his contract expired in May 2026, he left the club as a free agent, having completed a substantial stint in Belfast.

Internationally, McKee has represented Northern Ireland at the Under-21 level. He earned eight caps for the youth side. During one of these appearances against Scotland in September 2022, he scored a goal, a moment that stands out in his international profile. He has not yet progressed to the senior national team, remaining focused on his club commitments.

Earlier in his development, McKee gained experience through a loan spell at Brechin City in 2021. He made 14 appearances during this short-term move, scoring once, which provided him with valuable playing time outside the Rangers environment. Before joining Linfield, he spent time at Rangers B, continuing his development in a competitive setting.

He moved from the U19s to the B team, then to a loan, before returning to secure a long-term future.
