Daniela Arias spent 2024 playing for Corinthians. The club won the Brasileirão, the Copa Libertadores Femenina and the Supercopa do Brasil that year, and Arias herself was named the Brazilian championship's best defender, taking home the Bola de Prata.
She was picked for the Copa Libertadores Femenina team of the tournament with two different clubs — first with Junior, later with América de Cali — and was shortlisted for the Colombian league's best defender award during her time at Cali. A move to Mexico's Pachuca, where she arrived as the club's first foreign signing, sat between her two stints at América de Cali.
Corinthians' title-winning season raised her price further: San Diego Wave paid a fee ranked among the largest ever received for a player leaving Brazilian women's football when they signed her in March 2025. She signed with León in Mexico in July 2026.
