About the player
Deividas Dovydaitis joined the FA Šiauliai academy system through the club's sports gymnasium programme in the summer of 2016 and made his senior debut for the club in the I Lyga against Mažeikių Atmosfera.
Šiauliai reached the final of the LFF Cup, with Dovydaitis scoring in the quarter-final win over Vilniaus Panerys and again in the semi-final victory against Joniškio Saned, before the team lost the final to Žalgiris.
Šiauliai's promotion to the A Lyga in 2022 brought Dovydaitis his top-flight debut, against Žalgiris Vilnius, and a full season of 31 league appearances. In January 2023 he moved on loan to fellow A Lyga club FK Banga, debuting against Panevėžys, before returning to Šiauliai that July and finishing the year with four more league games for his parent club.
Dovydaitis has progressed through Lithuania's youth set-ups from under-17 to under-21 level, where he has made 16 appearances and scored twice, including matches in Euro U21 qualifying and the Baltic Cup.
