About the player
David Malembana was born in Freital, Germany, and making his debut against Cameroon on 11 October 2021.
His path through the game started in the Dynamo Dresden youth system before he moved into senior football with Goslarer SC 08, then spent three seasons at Berliner FC Dynamo, where he won the Berlin Cup twice, in 2017 and 2018. That spell in the German lower leagues gave way to a move to Bulgaria in 2019, joining Lokomotiv Plovdiv.
From there his career took him across several leagues in quick succession. He now continues his career at Slavia Sofia.
