Nikitin is from Kaliningrad and came through the city's SShOR-5 school. In 2022 he was named in the symbolic team of the Youth Football League North-West at under-17 level. He was also called up to the Russia under-16 side.
His first senior football came with Baltika-2, the club's reserve side in the Second League "B". Between 2024 and 2026 he played 31 matches for them and scored ten goals.
