About the player
Dominique Domröse's early career ran through Frankfurt and Darmstadt academies before he found a settled route through German football's regional levels. Youth spells at SV Darmstadt, Eintracht Frankfurt, SV Darmstadt 98 and FSV Frankfurt gave way to a stint with SC Freiburg's U19 side, and his senior career began at Sportfreunde Lotte. Stops at SV Rödinghausen and SC Wiedenbrück followed, each move made on a free transfer, before a short spell with SC Paderborn 07's second team.
He joined SV Meppen in January 2025, again on a free transfer, and the switch paid off quickly. Domröse was part of the Meppen squad that won the Regionalliga Nord title, securing promotion to the 3. Liga. In the club's first season back at that level, FuPa's metrics rated the right-back as SV Meppen's most valuable player.
Domröse plays as a right-back, wears the number two shirt at SV Meppen, and is contracted to the club until June 2028.
