About the player
Enej Marsetič arrived at Slovan Liberec in September 2026 on a permanent transfer from NK Brinje Grosuplje. The move followed a season in which Marsetič made himself hard to ignore in Slovenia's second tier, finishing as top scorer of the 2. SNL in 2025/2026 before adding two goals in six matches for Brinje Grosuplje the following campaign.
His path there was not straightforward. Marsetič came through the academy at FC Koper before a reported €500,000 move to Inter Milan collapsed in 2020, sending him instead to Parma's youth ranks. He returned to Koper in the summer of 2023, where he finally made his senior debut that season. A loan to NK Slovenska Bistrica followed in September 2024, giving him a full campaign of regular football before his switch to Brinje Grosuplje and, from there, to Liberec.
At international level, Marsetič has represented Slovenia through the youth ranks, with four caps for the under-17s and further appearances for the under-19 side, where he has also found the net. He has yet to add a senior title or individual honour to his record.
