About the player
Cracovia had signed him from Politehnica Iaşi in the January for a reported €300,000, and he stayed three years, playing 71 league matches in the Ekstraklasa and scoring four.
The route there ran through Belgium and the Netherlands. Loshaj came up in the KRC Genk youth system, then went to MVV Maastricht on loan in January 2016; the move was made permanent that July. He made 47 league appearances in the Eerste Divisie over two and a half years. A spell at Roda JC Kerkrade lasted half a season before the switch to Romania.
Cracovia and Loshaj parted by mutual consent on 31 January 2023. Four days later he signed a four-and-a-half-year contract at İstanbulspor, on a free. He left for Iğdır FK in February 2026.
Loshaj played three times for the Kosovo under-21 side and made his senior debut on 12 January 2020 against Sweden. By August 2024 he had 24 caps, 23 of them in FIFA-recognised fixtures, without scoring.
