Iván Arturo Torres Riveros

Torres left Cerro Porteño in December 2014 with two Paraguayan Primera División titles behind him — the Apertura 2012 and the Clausura 2013 — and no fee attached. His contract had expired, so he joined Olimpia on a free.

He had come through at Cerro, signing in 2009 and making his debut in 2010. The position was never fixed. He started out at left-back and as a wing-back, then moved inside, and has spent most of his career as a central or defensive midfielder. He is left-footed.

The one break in the Olimpia years came in Argentina. On loan at Colón for the 2016–2017 season he made 26 appearances and scored four goals.

The international record is short. He made his debut for Paraguay on 4 June 2019, a friendly against Honduras that finished 1-1. His second cap came in a World Cup qualifier against Peru in 2022. He has not scored for the national side.

After Olimpia he joined Goiás in July 2024, again without a fee, and played in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B and the Campeonato Goiano. He left later that year. His move to Sportivo Luqueño, also a free transfer, came in July 2024, and there he played 45 matches — 22 in the Clausura 2024, 23 more across the Apertura 2025 and the Copa Sudamericana 2025 — without scoring. He departed in June 2025, signed for Deportivo Recoleta the following month, and moved on to Sportivo San Lorenzo in January 2026. None of those transfers carried a reported fee.
