About the player
Panama City raised Jorman Aguilar, and it was the local club Río Abajo that gave him his professional start before his career took an early turn towards Europe. Parma signed him.
Portugal is where he spent his longest continuous run away from home, split between two spells at Olhanense and a subsequent move to Estoril. Between and after those years he kept returning to Panamanian football, turning out for Independiente Chorrera across three separate stints and for Tauro in between.
His path since has rarely settled in one place for long. Costa Rica's San Carlos, Peru's Sport Boys, South Korea's Bucheon FC 1995 and Guatemala's Comunicaciones have all had him on their books within the space of a few years. He returned to Independiente Chorrera again in 2024.
At international level, Aguilar has represented Panama, appearing in the CONCACAF Gold Cup and scoring once in seven appearances for the national team.
