About the player

Jameese Joseph's college career opened with a statement: as a freshman at NC State in 2019, she was the only newcomer on the roster to start all 23 matches, a mark of trust rare for a first-year player. By the time she left Raleigh in 2023, she had made 87 appearances, scored 24 goals and set up another 10, and had already picked up an ACC All-Freshman Team nod and United Soccer Coaches Third Team All-Region honours.

Joseph carried that form into the professional game with the Chicago Stars FC, formerly Chicago Red Stars, in the NWSL, where she signed her first contract in March 2024. The club's confidence in her only grew from there: in July 2025, with two years still left on her original deal, they extended her through 2028 with an option for 2029. In August 2024, she picked up an NWSL Goal of the Week award for the second goal of her career, scored against Racing Louisville FC.

Wearing number 8, she has become a fixture in the Stars' attack, starting 15 of the team's 20 matches in the 2025 season. Her development has also drawn attention at international level, with training-camp call-ups to United States youth squads at under-14 in 2019 and under-20 in 2022.

Jameese Joseph was born in Beltsville, Maryland, and stands 1.70m tall.
