Jakhongir Urozov

Urozov scored on his senior debut for Uzbekistan: 27 March 2026, against Gabon, in a 3–1 win. Three months later he was in the squad for the 2026 World Cup and came on in the 77th minute against Colombia, a game Uzbekistan lost 1–3. As of June 2026 he had six caps and that one goal.

He had already won something with the national set-up before that. In 2023 he was part of the Uzbekistan side that took the AFC U-20 Asian Cup.

The route ran from Zomin, in the Jizzakh Region, through Bunyodkor, where he joined the youth ranks in 2020 and stepped up to the senior squad in 2022. Seventeen appearances there were enough for Eyüpspor to pay around €300,000 for him in August 2023. In July 2024 he was loaned to Dinamo Samarqand, where the football returned — 13 appearances on loan, and the transfer was made permanent in January 2025, after which he played 40 more.

That form brought the move to Russia. In August 2026 Rubin Kazan signed him on loan until the end of the year for €100,000, with a mandatory purchase option of €700,000 that triggers if he features in half of the club's matches. He wears number 13 and made his debut on 19 August 2026, against Spartak Moscow in the Russian Cup, and with the buy clause depending on how much of the rest of the year he spends on the pitch.
