About the player
Jakob Lowe made his debut for Cray Wanderers on 15 September 2026 and scored the club's first goal of the game. The Leyton Orient forward was on a short-term loan at the non-league side, and the match against St Albans City in the Isthmian Premier Division finished 3-3.
His route to that afternoon began at Chelsea, where he played in the Under-18s. He then moved to Sutton United and was in their Under-18 side at 15. In July 2025 he joined Leyton Orient from Sutton, first in the club's Under-18 set-up. He was later included in the Under-21 squad.
Lowe has also been close to the first team at Orient. He was named among the substitutes for the League One match against Huddersfield Town on 6 April 2026, and again for the EFL Cup tie with Oxford United on 8 August 2026. He was not used on either occasion.
The move to Cray Wanderers followed within weeks of the Oxford match. It gave him senior football in a division of adult sides.
