Jeisson Andrés Palacios Murillo

Jeisson Palacios spent nearly a decade in Colombian football before crossing the Atlantic, and by the time he arrived in Nashville he had already built a career on loan spells that kept sending him back out to prove himself. He came through Atlético Nacional, but it was the years away from that club — at FC Leones, then two stints at Alianza Petrolera either side of a loan at Atlético Bucaramanga — that kept him in reserve.

His best individual output in Colombia came at Independiente Santa Fe, where across two seasons he reached double figures in appearances well past thirty and contributed three goals from the back. That form carried him to Europe in 2021, when he signed for Pafos FC in Cyprus, spending two seasons there before returning home to play for América de Cali in 2024.

A call-up to the Colombian national team came in June 2021, though he did not take the field. It remains the closest he has come to full international recognition.

In January 2025, Nashville SC announced his signing, with the financial terms of the move kept private. He has since featured in MLS and Leagues Cup competition as part of the club's defensive options for the season.
