Leandro Alexis Navarro

Leandro Navarro's career carries the shape of a career interrupted. He came through at San Lorenzo de Almagro, making his professional debut in November 2011, and was part of the squad that won the Torneo Inicial in 2013 before lifting the Copa Libertadores in 2014. He made four appearances off the bench during the campaign but was absent from the final, having ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in training that July, an injury that kept him out for six months. In total he made 38 appearances and scored three goals for San Lorenzo before the club sent him out on loan.

That loan, in 2015, took him to Argentinos Juniors, then a season in Uruguay with Danubio. A move to Deportes Iquique in Chile followed in 2023, then Cobresal a year later, before his contract there was rescinded and he signed for Santiago Wanderers as a free agent, where he now wears the number 8 shirt.
