About the player
Štravs came through the NK Celje academy and did not wait long for senior football: in the 2019/20 season he appeared 34 times across all competitions and finished it with a Slovenian PrvaLiga title. The two seasons that followed were spent mostly elsewhere — a loan to NK Fužinar from February to June 2021, then a loan to ND Beltinci from February to June 2022. Between them, back at Celje in the 2021/22 campaign, he managed a single league appearance.
In July 2022 he left for NK Tabor Sežana, where the football looked more regular: nine appearances and two goals, unusual returns for a defensive midfielder. Then, in December 2022, a knee injury required surgery and ended his season. He left the club the following July.
NK Bravo signed him on a free transfer on 18 July 2023, on a deal running to 30 June 2025. In April 2025 the club confirmed an extension to 31 May 2027 — a longer commitment than the original terms, and the clearest sign yet that the knee is behind him.
His international record belongs to an earlier phase. Between October 2018 and October 2019 he won six caps for the Slovenia under-19s and scored once. He has yet to play for the senior national side.
