About the player
Martin Boďa Ružomberok signed him on a free transfer in July 2020, and the forward went on to become a regular starter there.
He came to Martin in 2016 after youth football at TJ Družstevník Belá-Dulice, and he stayed until 2020. At Ružomberok he made more than 110 league appearances.
The 2023–24 season was the high point. Ružomberok won the Slovak Cup, and Boďa scored in the quarter-final against FK Kostolné Kračany. In the same season he converted a penalty against FC Noah in a UEFA Conference League qualifying round.
The following year the club reached the Slovak Cup final again but lost to FC Spartak Trnava, and Boďa finished that campaign as a runner-up.
In June 2025 he was loaned to KFC Komárno for the 2025–26 season. The spell ended in June 2026, and he returned to Ružomberok.
