Martin Stojanov

Martin Stojanov started his senior career at FK Kit-Go Pehčevo before joining FK Bregalnica Štip in 2019. He spent three seasons with the club, and in the 2019–20 Macedonian Football Cup he finished the competition as its top scorer with eight goals, even though the final was never played to a conclusion. He followed that with nine goals in the 2021/22 season.

That form took him abroad in July 2022, when Septemvri Sofia signed him from Bregalnica Štip for a fee of around €15,000. In his first season in the Bulgarian First League he scored five goals and set up eleven more for team-mates. Septemvri were relegated after that campaign, and in the Second League the following season Stojanov added four goals and two assists as the club aimed for an immediate return.

He went back to North Macedonia in July 2024, joining GFK Tikveš as a free agent and wearing the number 10 shirt. The move brought him European football: in Tikveš's 2024/25 Conference League qualifying campaign he scored directly from a free-kick against Breiðablik. He stayed at the club through the 2025/26 season before a return to Bregalnica Štip was agreed for July 2026.

At youth level, Stojanov was capped once for North Macedonia's under-21 side during their qualifying campaign for the 2021 European Championship. He has not been capped by the senior national team.
