About the player
Rogerio Thuram
His career began at Atletico Paranaense, but the path out of the academy ran almost entirely through loans: Novo Hamburgo and Chapecoense in 2012, Bahia in 2013, then a move abroad to Cyprus with Aris Limassol. A permanent switch to Monte Azul in 2014 barely kept him in Brazil — he spent the following years out on loan again, first back in Cyprus with Apollon Limassol, then in Greece with Kerkyra, before signing outright for Lamia in 2019.
Turkey came next. Thuram joined Konyaspor in 2020 and then Tuzlaspor, before a return to Greece with Ionikos. In June 2022 he signed for Pendikspor as a free agent, and that spell produced the most settled form of his career: 43 appearances and 12 goals for the club over two seasons. A move to Eyupspor in January 2024 brought a shorter run — 15 games, three goals — before a stop at Igdir.
On 18 July 2025, Thuram returned to Pendikspor, signing again as a free agent. No club trophies or individual awards appear on his record, and he has not been capped by Brazil at any level. What stands out instead is the sheer range of leagues he has crossed — Brazil, Cyprus, Greece and Turkey — largely on loan or free transfers, building a career out of persistence rather than a single defining move.
