Trofim Melnychenko

Trofim Melnychenko came through Dinamo Minsk's academy and was promoted to the first team at the start of 2024, going on to make 37 appearances and score three goals before his move abroad. In January 2025 Porto signed him for a fee of €380,000, with €30,000 of that going to agent commission, and tied him to a contract running until 30 June 2028. He was initially assigned to the club's reserve side, FC Porto B.

Melnychenko had already broken into Belarus's senior national team before completing the switch to Porto, making his debut as a substitute against Bulgaria in the Nations League, coming on in the 83rd minute of a goalless draw. His first international goal followed months later in a friendly rout of Tajikistan, and he added another in a win over Kazakhstan. In ten appearances for the senior side he has scored twice.

Before that, he worked his way through Belarus's youth setup at every level from under-16 to under-21, scoring three goals in six under-16 appearances and adding another at under-17.
