Víctor Bertomeu de la O

On 29 January 2026, Víctor Bertomeu de la O signed a short-term free transfer with the Indian Super League club, arriving as the replacement for Koldo Obieta. He has scored four goals in nine appearances since.

Bertomeu came out of the Spanish lower divisions with CF Pobla de Mafumet, where he spent four seasons before a brief stay at Gimnàstic de Tarragona. The longest stretch of his career followed at FC Ascó, four years in the same shirt. After that the moves came quickly: CF Peralada, UA Horta, then AE Prat, none of them lasting more than a season.

The change came in September 2021, when he left Spain for Eastern SC in the Hong Kong Premier League on a free transfer. He won the Hong Kong FA Cup there. Two years in, he tried Indonesia with Gresik United, then returned to Eastern SC in August 2024 — the only club he has gone back to. In August 2025 he joined SSD Ischia Calcio in Italy, a stay that lasted months rather than years before India came calling.

He has no Golden Boot and no major individual honours; the Hong Kong Premier League's top scorer in 2024–25 was his own Eastern teammate, Noah Baffoe. A right-footed centre-forward from Amposta, he has made almost every move of his career without a fee changing hands.
