About the player
Vinni Triboulet's career has been a study in movement between leagues. Born in Douala, Cameroon, the centre-forward came through the youth academy at AS Nancy-Lorraine, signing his first professional contract there in December 2018. A loan spell followed at Belgian club RE Virton, though it yielded only a single appearance before he returned to Nancy.
His breakthrough came after leaving France. Joining Bulgarian side Beroe Stara Zagora as a free agent in October 2022, Triboulet found the consistency that had eluded him earlier, scoring 11 goals in 48 appearances. That form carried over when he signed for Botev Plovdiv in August 2024, again on a free transfer, where he added five goals in 30 appearances.
His market value peaked at €1 million around the time of that move, reflecting the upward trajectory his career had taken since leaving France. In February 2026, Triboulet made his most striking move yet, joining Chinese club Meizhou Hakka as a free agent. The switch has proven his most productive spell to date, with 12 goals in 24 appearances.
Botev Plovdiv, the club most associated with his rise, have their own history of silverware, having lifted the Bulgarian Cup in 2024 and the Bulgarian Supercup in 2017.
