Sunnanå SK ended Bergnäsets' run in this season's Svenska Cupen, in the third round.
Kent Radquist spent six years in charge, before leaving at the end of 2024. Andreas Sundvall replaced him for 2025; Per-Anders Blind took over on an interim basis once Sundvall left in February.
On the pitch, 2024 and 2025 amounted to a promotion undone: Division 1 for two seasons, then relegation back to Division 2. Damallsvenskan, the top flight, remains untouched. Home matches are played at Bergsvallen, in green and black; the away kit is red.
Bergnäsets AIK itself dates to 1933. The women's team has never been split off into a company of its own — it still plays under the parent club's name, on the parent club's ground.
