Bucheon FC 1995

When Bucheon SK packed up for Jeju island at the start of 2006, the supporters who had followed that team stayed behind in a city that no longer had a club. They built one themselves, and on 1 December 2007 it was registered as Bucheon FC 1995.
Bucheon sits in Gyeonggi Province, and most of what the club plays for is decided inside it. Anyang and Ansan Greeners fill out the rest of the calendar's grudge matches.
Home is Bucheon Stadium, an oversized bowl of 34,456 seats where only 5,011 are opened to spectators. Red shirts, red shorts, black socks; white on the road.
For most of its existence the club had nothing in the cabinet and no route out of the second tier. The 2016 Korean FA Cup run reached the semi-finals and stopped there. Then came 2025, and a play-off against Suwon FC that Bucheon got over the line — promotion to K League 1 for the first time.
