«Biancoazzurri»
Serie D is where the Biancoazzurri wake up each Sunday now, when they took the Eccellenza Emilia-Romagna title in Girone A. That win moved a side built out of local amateur football — the ASD Cittadella Vis San Paolo line runs into it — into a division.
The confusion is worth clearing up once: this is not what became of Modena FC 1912. That club went under in 2018 and came back as Modena FC 2018. Cittadella Vis Modena is a separate body, sharing the city and nothing else.
Home is the Stadio Comunale Allegretti, out in San Damaso on the edge of town, and most people still call it Campo San Damaso. It holds 600. Nothing about it flatters a Serie D fixture.
Those Piacenza games, and the ones against Correggese, are what the local press files as the Emilian derby.
The Coppa Italia Serie D has so far given them one line: the 2024/25 run ended in the last 32 against Lentigione. White and blue on the shirts, which is where the nickname comes from and where it stops — no older name attached itself.
The ground takes 600.
