Dekani

The club, formally Nogometni klub Jadran Dekani, took shape in the village in 1938. The side, then playing under the name Istragas Jadran Dekani, won the 2. SNL in the 1992–93 season.

Alen Ščulac now holds both the coaching and the presidential roles at Dekani, a dual position that ties the club's playing side to its administration in one person. He arrived with a playing record built at bigger clubs, ND Gorica and NK Domžale among them, having made his top-flight debut back in 1991.

The crest still carries the club's maritime name — a sailing ship over a football, a nod to the Adriatic reference in "Jadran" — set against light blue. Home matches are played in blue and white at Igrišče Ivan Gregorič, a ground holding 2,500, with 1,000 seats and standing room for the rest.
