FC Santa Coloma U19

Seven goals conceded away, four more at home: that was the return leg for Santa Coloma's under-19s against JK Tallinna Kalev in the 2024–25 UEFA Youth League, the tie that ended their run in the Domestic Champions Path at the quarter-final stage. It reads as a heavy scoreline, but reaching that round at all.

The under-19 side sits beneath a senior club built in 1986 by a group of enthusiasts from the village of Santa Coloma, now folded into the parish of Andorra la Vella, and that senior team has gone on to dominate the domestic game more thoroughly than any other in the country's history. The youth sides train and play at the Centre d'Entrenament de la Federació Andorrana de Futbol, a 2,000-capacity ground on Baixada de Molí that has largely replaced the old Estadi Comunal d'Aixovall as the club's base.

What separates the academy from a typical small-federation youth setup is the arrangement with Villarreal CF, which has sent staff to run clinics for the club's younger players. The senior team's honours board, thirteen league titles between 1994–95 and 2018–19 among them, gives the under-19s a standard to answer to even without a comparable list of youth trophies of their own.

Players who come through wear a kit that traces back to the club's founding: white at home, blue away, a shirt that gave the club one of its nicknames, the Blues, alongside Colomencs and El Don.
