Frosinone U20

A penalty shootout in Parma decided the 2025 Supercoppa Primavera 2, and Frosinone's youngsters were the ones left celebrating. It came only months after the club had gone back up to Primavera 1, having spent a single season down in the second tier of Italian youth football — the Campionato Primavera 2, Girone B, which Frosinone's side won outright in 2024–25. That double, promotion and cup, gave the academy a season worth remembering after years spent in the shadow of the senior team's own rise through Serie B.

The youth side trains and plays at the Cittadella dello Sport in Ferentino, a modest facility holding 2,100, a world away from Stadio Benito Stirpe where the first team lines up in front of over 16,000. The distance between the two grounds says something about how Frosinone treats its pathway: the academy is kept separate, working through its own age group before anyone is judged ready for Stirpe.

Yellow and blue, the same colours the senior side has carried since its re-affiliation with the Italian federation in 1928, run through every level of the club, and the Ciociari nickname belongs as much to the boys in Ferentino as to the first team. Among those who wore that shirt as a teenager before making a senior career of it, Lorenzo Gori is the name still mentioned around the club — a reminder of what the Primavera set-up is actually for, even in a year when the shootout in Parma gave it a trophy to point to as well.
