Germany U19 Women

There is no club badge or stadium terrace behind this side, only a federation. The German Football Association was founded in Leipzig on 28 January 1900 and now runs its national sides, including this one, out of the DFB Campus in Frankfurt am Main. The under-19 squad itself has no separate identity: it is rebuilt every season as players turn 20 and move on to the senior team.

The shirt is white at home, red with pink trim away, carrying the DFB crest last updated in November 2025 — the same badge worn by every other German national side, senior or junior, men's or women's.

Where the team does have a history of its own is at the UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship. Germany won six of the competition's earliest editions — 2000, 2001, 2002, 2006, 2007 and 2011 — and added bronze medals in 1998, 2005, 2008, 2010, 2013, 2015 and 2017.

The 2011 title remains the last one. Under Melanie Behringer and co-coach Jos Bolt, Germany reached the final again in 2026 — its fourth since that win, following defeats in 2018, 2019 and 2023 — and lost it once more. Second place has been the more familiar result for fifteen years running.
