Pucioasa

A thousand seats is where FC Pucioasa play their home matches, at the ground named after Dumitru Tică Popescu. The club did not grow out of that town at all.

Promotion came late and awkwardly. The county title in 2014 brought no move upwards; the club took it again the following season and this time went through the play-off, beating Unirea Bascov 4-2 on aggregate, and reached Liga III for the first time. Three seasons there produced eleventh, twelfth and tenth place — enough to stay up, not enough to build on.

In 2018 Aninoasa withdrew its money and the club faced being wound up. What saved it was a change of address: in June that year it moved to Pucioasa, took the town's name, and found new backing from the mayor, Constantin Ana.

Second place in Series V in 2021/22 was already the best the club had managed in national competition, and a year later Pucioasa won Liga III outright.

The Romanian Cup has given them nothing so far — early rounds, early exits.
