San Rafael

Ask for CF San Rafael on Ibiza and you can end up in Ontinyent, in Valencia, where an amateur side of the same name marked its 50th anniversary in 2024 and then disappeared. The Ibiza club is the one still playing. Locals call it "el club rafaler", after Sant Rafel de Sa Creu, the neighbourhood of Sant Antoni de Portmany where it has played since 1968.

Its best recent weeks came in September 2026, when it beat CE Alaior 3–0 in the final of the Copa Illes Balears. It has also spent time in the Tercera RFEF. Today it plays in the División de Honor Ibiza.

In 2019 it took a different route. In May of that year UD Ibiza announced that San Rafael would be its official affiliate for the 2019–20 season, an arrangement meant to help players develop. The club kept its independence, and after that one season the arrangement ended.

The cup win also earned a place in the Copa del Rey for 2026/27, where San Rafael meet AE Prat in the preliminary round. They go into it in blue shirts, white shorts and blue socks.

Home is the Camp Municipal d'Esports Sant Rafel, a municipal ground of roughly 2,000 seats in the middle of the neighbourhood that gives the club its name.
