Sjalevads Ik Women

Amanda Berglund first wore Själevads IK's green and white in 2004, left for Umeå IK, then returned in 2017 — and kept coming back, for further spells in 2022, 2024 and 2025.

The women's section formed in 1977, when women's football was still fighting for recognition in Sweden, and has played since at Själevads IP, a 1,000-capacity ground shared with the men's team that dates to 1923. Tommie Andersson managed the side across four spells between 1999 and 2016. In 2004 he took it into the Damallsvenskan — the club's only season in Sweden's top flight, followed by one more before relegation. Since then Själevads has built its record in the regional divisions, winning the Division 1 Norra title three times, most recently in 2015. Regional DM-guld championships followed in 2015 and 2025.

The club has also worked as a supply line for others. Klara Nyberg played there from 2018 to 2020 before moving on to Vittsjö GIK and Umeå IK and earning call-ups to the Swedish national team. Moa Våglund scored 19 goals in the 2023 season, enough to take her to Team TG FF the following year.

In 2025, Själevads won Division 2 Norra Norrland Syd and returned to Division 1 — the level it last held a decade earlier.
