Sokol Tasovice

Stadion TJ Sokol Tasovice sits at Tasovice 193, with room for around 1,500 along the touchline.

The club grew out of the Sokol gymnastics and sports movement, formally established on 9 March 1946, and it has kept that name ever since — no rebrand, no sponsor swap, just Sokol Tasovice. Progress up the Czech pyramid has been local: district-level football through the late 1940s and 1960s, then a long stretch in the I. A třída from 1991 to 2008, broken only by a brief drop back down between 1999 and 2001. A step up to the Jihomoravský regional championship followed in 2008, and by 2010 the club had reached the Divize, the fourth tier, where it has stayed with only a naming change — to 4. liga, skupina D — in 2024.

There is no silverware attached to that climb. Sokol Tasovice has never won a major trophy, and its brushes with the MOL Cup, the Czech domestic cup, have not gone far — an early-round tie against Zlín in 2024 among them. The one name that recurs from the club's recent history is Miroslav Steinhauser, who managed the side through 2014 and 2016, a period covered in club records without further embellishment.
