Ulricehamns Ifk Women

Two clubs in the same small Västergötland town stopped competing with each other in 1992: the football section of Ulricehamns IF joined IFK Ulricehamn, a club that had been going since 1938. The colours were the part that had to be negotiated. Blue and black went on the shirts as the compromise, with yellow and white kept in the crest.

Pia Sundhage came out of the pre-merger IFK Ulricehamn before she moved on to Falköpings KIK, and the club still calls her its best-known graduate.

The team plays as an amateur club, and in 2026 sits in Division 1 Mellersta, the third tier of the Swedish women's game. Home matches are at Lassalyckans IP, which holds 2,500.

The cup is where the club meets sides from above it. In the first round of the 2026 Svenska Cupen, UIFK beat Örgryte IS 1–0. The reward was IF Elfsborg in August, and that one finished 1–2. Five years earlier the second round had brought a 1–3 defeat to Lörby IF.
