USC Rohrbach

USC Rohrbach play in the 2. Landesliga West, one of the amateur divisions in the lower tiers of Austrian football and the highest level the club has reached in its history. Promotion came after winning the Gebietsliga West in 2015, the last of four title-winning seasons that also produced promotions in 1960, 2000 and 2005, none of them above district or regional level.

Karl Sirninger and Alois Itzentaler founded the club in 1952 in Rohrbach an der Gölsen, in Lower Austria. For fifty-five years it played on the Hofstattwiese, a pitch borrowed from Göttweig Abbey, before moving in 2007 to the Liese Prokop Sportanlage, its current ground. Up to that point the club had played as USC Rieder-Kisten Rohrbach; around 2013/14 it briefly fielded a joint side with neighbouring St. Veit an der Gölsen as SG Rohrbach/St. Veit. The neighbour's name has stayed attached ever since — the club's full title today is USC INDAT kaschütz Rohrbach/St. Veit an der Gölsen, shortened in league listings to USC kaschütz Rohrbach.

Colours are black and white. There is no club website of its own; its main presence online is the page the Austrian Football Association hosts for it. Despite the name changing repeatedly, no nickname has taken hold.

The one fixture that still carries weight locally is the Gölsen Valley derby against SC Hainfeld, further down the same valley. No player who came through Rohrbach has gone on to play in Austria's top flight.
