What changed was the cup. In 2024/25 the club won the Coppa Ticino, beating Malcantone 2-1 in the final, then met the same opponent again for the Supercoppa Ticina and beat them a second time in the same season. A year later Vedeggio returned to the Coppa Ticino final, this time against Chiasso, and won it again.
The cup run also brought the club its one meeting with a side from the top of Swiss football: FC Lugano, in the Swiss Cup. That tie was played at Cadempino rather than in Lugano.
The blue and burgundy of the shirts gave the team its nickname, i blaugrana , and the colours are the club's own rather than borrowed from any league identity.
