Zagorets

Zagorets also know Rozova Dolina Kazanlak from their years in the Third League.

The club's name is a demonym for someone from the Zagorie region. It arrived in 1957, after a sports reform, and it followed a long run of mergers. A team called Tichia appeared in 1921. Trakiets followed in 1922 and is treated as the direct predecessor. In 1946 Botev and Unak joined as Botev-Unak 45, and the side became Botev the next year. Later in 1947 it merged with Petko Enev – Lokomotiv and took the name Dynamo.

Zagorets went up to the Second League in 1982 and finished third in the Southern B Group in 1982–83, behind Beroe and Lokomotiv Plovdiv. They were promoted again in 2005 and repeated it, finishing last of 14 in 2005–06 with three wins.

Zagorets won the Southeastern Third League in 2016–17 and the Cup of the Bulgarian Amateur Football League in 2019–20. Miroslav Mindev is head coach for 2025/26.
