When exactly the ground itself went up is not on record; what survives points only to the late 1960s or early 1970s, roughly alongside the club it was built for.

At 2,000 seats it sits at the small end of Kuwaiti football, on the Fahaheel Expressway in Al Ahmadi Governorate. The pitch is natural grass laid over a sand base with a Bermuda grass matrix, and rye is oversown in autumn to keep colour and cover through the cooler months.
