Adams Arena
On 3 April 2016 the ground at Kühnmatt 3 in Willstätt-Sand held a 2:1 win for SC Sand over Bayern Munich in a DFB-Pokal semi-final. That result sent SC Sand through to the final, where they lost to VfL Wolfsburg . It happened here rather than on neutral ground: a year later, in the 2017 semi-final, SC Sand beat Bayer 04 Leverkusen 4:0 at the Haberland-Stadion in Leverkusen instead.
The record attendance stands at 2,164 .
What the arena has changed most often is its name. It opened as the Kühnmatt-Stadion . Since August 2021 it has been the Adams-Arena , following a sponsorship agreement with Adams Blitzschutz-Systeme GmbH.
The surface is natural grass. The tenants are the SC Sand women's side, who play in the 2. Bundesliga, and the club's second team.
