Stadium
Adem Jashari Olympic Stadium
Formerly: Trepça Stadium
The name on the gate changed with the war. Until 1999 this was Trepça Stadium ; afterwards it took the name of Adem Jashari , a founder of the Kosovo Liberation Army killed in 1998. The ground sits in the southern half of a city, and it is home to KF Trepça .
That work is the third round in a decade: €740,000 went into it in 2014, another €1.5 million in 2017. Completion has been aimed at late 2025 or early 2026.
What comes out the other side is meant to hold about 18,500 — up from the 16,300 of the ground that closed — and to carry a UEFA category 4 licence. The pitch stays natural grass.
The bones underneath are old.
