Stadium
Agyeman Badu Stadium
Dormaa Ahenkro, Ghana
The stadium sits in the quiet centre of a town in the Bono Region. Agyeman-Badu Stadium has sheltered crowds for years.
There is no running track around the pitch; the grass goes straight to the barrier.
The venue is the home of Aduana Stars, and the matches here carry the weight of the local community. The club moved into this facility after years at a smaller park, and the upgrades in 2017 were meant to bring the ground up to continental standards.
What remains is the silence between the events.
