Al-Anwar Club Stadium

Hotat Bani Tamim, Saudi Arabia

The ground at Hotat Bani Tamim took seven years to go from foundations to a first match. Work started in February 2012, at a cost of around 60 million Saudi Riyals, under the supervision of the Arab Office for Engineering Services and Consulting, with the engineer Mu'ath Qadiri running the project on site. It opened to matches in 2019.

The club it was built for had spent decades without a fixed address of its own. Al-Anwar, founded in 1973, ran its affairs first from the Al Rukan family home, then from the Al Salim family, then Al Mabkhout, and later out of the Omairiya district. The name stayed the same through all of it, and so has the ground's: no sponsor's title has ever been attached, and it has been called Al-Anwar Club Stadium since the day it opened.

The most recent change came underfoot. Ahead of the 2025–26 season, with the club preparing for its first campaign in the First Division, the artificial surface was taken up and replaced with natural grass.

Beyond that, the place keeps to itself. It has hosted no national finals, no concerts. Al-Anwar are the only tenant, and the fixture list is the club's own. What happens there is league football in the capital of the Hotat Bani Tamim Governorate.
