Al Assiouty Sport Stadium

Beni Suef, Egypt

The Al Assiouty Sport Stadium sits on the Giza–Luxor Road. Yet here it is.

The most significant chapter began when Al Assiouty Sport, a team originally from the south, moved north to Beni Suef after promotion to the Egyptian Premier League. They played here until Saudi investor Turki Al-Sheikh acquired the club in 2018, rebranding it Pyramids FC and shifting operations to Cairo’s 30 June Stadium. During that transitional window, matches were occasionally held in Beni Suef, though the stadium’s primary role remained local.

Today, the ground belongs to La Viena FC, a club established in 2020 by Mahmoud Al-Assiouty as a relaunch project. They compete in the Egyptian Second Division A. The capacity remains disputed; while La Viena’s own Wikipedia entry claims 6,000, data aggregators like FotMob and WorldFootball.net consistently list 1,000.

There is no official website for the venue, nor any heating system or hybrid turf to suggest modernization.
