Al Majmaa Sport City

Al Majmaa Sport City sits in the Majma'ah Governorate. It is not a cathedral of sport, but a functional ground that has outlasted its own name. When it opened in 1990, it was known then as Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Sports City. That name hung over the natural grass pitch until the General Sports Authority issued a decree in March 2018 to change the complex's name. The decision was framed as a reflection of its service to the youth of Al Majma'ah and the surrounding areas.

Two clubs call this place home: Al-Faisaly FC and Al-Fayha FC. The capacity is a matter of debate. Some sources insist on 5,000 seats, while others point to 12,000. A proposed expansion to 15,000 was mentioned in a 2021 article in Al-Jazirah newspaper, but no evidence of construction was found. There are no records of major finals hosted here, nor of attendance records that would make headlines. It is simply a place where the game is played, under the same sky that covers the Central Station nearby.
