Al Shabab Club Stadium
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Formerly: Prince Khalid bin Sultan Stadium
The ground sits in the Al-Sahafa district of Riyadh. A red athletics track once circled the pitch, but that is gone now. The redevelopment finished in August 2023, after which the stadium was reopened under a new name. The Syndicate Holding Group (SHG) put their name on the place, so it is SHG Arena.
The capacity sits at 15,000. The official attendance record belongs to a Saudi Pro League match against Al-Ahli on May 11, 2024. Before the work began in September 2021, the venue was known as Prince Khalid bin Sultan Stadium. It opened in 1984. The rebuild cost 90 million Saudi Riyals.
The playing surface is natural grass. The club, Al Shabab, play their domestic league matches here and compete in the King Cup. The stadium is listed to host matches for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup, though no major international finals have taken place on the turf yet.
The address is 7063 King Fahd Branch Road. The club’s website, alshabab-sc.sa, lists the details.
