Allianz Parque
The old Palestra Itália, home to Palmeiras since 1933, came down in 2010, and the club rebuilt from the ground on the same footprint in Água Branca — the WTorre-led project, designed by Edo Rocha, ran the bill to 630 million reais, nearly double the original estimate.
The pitch has its own history of tinkering. It runs on fourth-generation artificial turf, and in March 2024 the club swapped the infill for cork, chasing lower surface temperatures and a better feel underfoot — there is still no undersoil heating. The ground's tightest test of noise and numbers came on 29 April 2023, when Palmeiras beat Corinthians 2-1 in front of 41,457.
Foo Fighters, Radiohead, Depeche Mode, Kendrick Lamar and Guns N' Roses have all played here since 2018, and Pollstar credited the venue with 988,000 tickets sold for shows between December 2024 and November 2025 alone, more than any other stadium in the country over that stretch. CarnaUOL used the site for its carnival festival in February 2025.
Allianz's deal ran out in May 2026, and fans voted online to hand the naming rights to Nubank, in a contract said to be worth 50-51 million reais a year; the full rebrand to Nubank Parque was finished by July 2026.
