Arena Metallurg

The venue stands as a steel and concrete block set within the riverside park zone of Magnitogorsk.

Inside, the atmosphere is dictated by the proximity of the stands to the rink.

The ground has hosted significant moments in domestic hockey. It was the setting for the 2014 Gagarin Cup Final, where Metallurg Magnitogorsk secured their championship title against HC Lev Praha. The arena also served as a key venue for the 2018 IIHF World U18 Championship, drawing international attention to the facility. Beyond sport, the hall has accommodated major concerts, with acts such as Scorpions and Roxette performing for large audiences, demonstrating the versatility of the space.

Constructed by the Finnish company LENCOM, the building replaced the former Romazan Ice Sports Palace as the primary home for the local team. While the interior features modern video panels and sound systems, the core structure remains largely unchanged since its opening in 2007. The venue continues to serve as the operational base for both the Kontinental Hockey League side and their minor league counterpart, Stalnye Lisy, who have played there since 2009. The facility sits near the intersection of Lenina Avenue and Zavenyagina Street.
